Refund and Cancellation Policy Overview
AST provides service-based products tailored to each client’s requirements. Due to the nature of our services, payments made are generally non-refundable. Refunds may be considered in specific circumstances as outlined below.
Kickoff Payment Refunds
A full refund of the initial payment will be provided if the client requests to discontinue services within 72 hours of signing the Agreement, provided AST has not yet assigned a project manager or team to the project. Once the project manager and team are assigned and the client is notified by email, the initial payment becomes non-refundable.
Milestone Payment Refunds
Milestone payments are due following client review and acceptance of deliverables at each stage of the project. By submitting each milestone payment, the client confirms acceptance and approval of the deliverables, making these payments non-refundable.
Project Change and Replacement Policy
Clients have a 14-day window to request a project replacement or change without additional charges, provided that the new project is similar in scope and does not incur additional costs for AST. In this case, AST will provide tokens equivalent to the payment made, which can be redeemed for the new project.
Change Requests within 14-28 Days: If a change request is received after 14 days but within 28 days, 50% of the total project cost will be charged, and the remaining 50% will be credited as tokens redeemable for a new project.
Change Requests after 28 Days: If a change request is received after 28 days, 75% of the total project cost will be charged, and 25% will be credited as tokens for use on a new project.
Tokens are redeemable solely for AST services and are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
Project Cancellation and Charges
If the client cancels the project before its completion, AST reserves the right to charge a cancellation fee based on the amount of work completed up to that point.
Any outstanding fees or unpaid balances following cancellation will be subject to collection actions, including potential legal proceedings.
Data Backup and Responsibility
The client is solely responsible for backing up any existing data on their site before AST undertakes project work. AST will not be liable for any loss or damage to data, images, or content during or after project execution.
AST will not be responsible for any modifications, deletions, or additions made by the client or third parties to the project post-deployment. Any required corrections may incur additional charges.
Delivery, Approvals, and Finalization
Project work will be delivered in stages, with each stage requiring client approval and milestone payment before proceeding to the next phase. AST will provide opportunities for client review and feedback on all deliverables.
If no feedback is received from the client within 7 days of AST’s delivery, the deliverables will be considered automatically approved, and work will continue as per the latest specifications.
Support and Third-Party Services
AST offers one month of complimentary support for bug fixes and technical queries post-launch. Additional support services are available on request and may be subject to additional fees based on client-selected packages.
AST cannot guarantee or provide refunds for third-party products or services integrated into the project and will not be liable for the performance of such services.
Processing Time for Refunds
All approved refunds will be processed within 30 days of confirmation. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@allstartech.net, and AST will review and respond within 5 business days.
Severability
If any provision in this policy is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. Any invalid provision will be replaced with terms that align as closely as possible with the original intent.
